MaxilloHope Africa

Our work

Move forward with purpose.
Act responsibly.

Accessible information first. Strong collaborations next. Care programmes built with the capacity to provide follow-up.

01Initial priority

Inform & raise awareness

Making knowledge accessible to everyone.

Educational content about the mouth, jaws and face: understanding conditions, discovering maxillofacial surgery and encouraging professional assessment.

Our editorial approach prioritises clear language, accurate information and respect for people.

02In development

Mobilise & connect

Bringing complementary skills together.

Developing relationships with healthcare professionals, hospitals, universities, associations and the diaspora to prepare activities that respond to local needs.

03Planned programmes

Detect, care & train

Laying the foundations for sustainable programmes.

In the longer term, the project envisages community outreach, screening, humanitarian surgery and skills development. Implementation will depend on partnerships, authorisations, resources and follow-up capacity.

These plans do not announce an open surgical campaign or care that is currently available.

Our commitment to continuity

Planning a care programme also means providing for assessment, preparation, follow-up and the management of complications. This commitment guides our approach.
